CHAMPIONSHIP GAME RECAP
Nashville became the fifth Class 4A team to go 15-0, capping its championship effort with a 39-20 win over Prairie Grove in the title game. Senior quarterback Leonard Snell, the game's MVP, set a title game record with six rushing touchdowns. Snell, a finalist for the Farm Bureau Awards Class 4A Offensive Player of the Year, ran 26 times for 230 yards and six TDs and completed four of 10 passes for 82 yards. He also made three tackles and broke up a pass playing sparingly at safety. Snell ran 217 times for 1,815 yards and 26 TDs this fall and passed for 1,725 yards and 15 TDs.

Prairie Grove's only losses this fall were to Farmington and Nashville. Tiger senior Blake Faulk ran 22 times for 135 yards and two TDs. Faulk finishes the season with 1,885 yards. Junior linebacker Zeke Laird led the Tigers with 11 , while senior linebacker Dakota Hutchison made 10 stops.

LAST WEEK

2015 FARM BUREAU AWARDS
The Farm Bureau Awards are set for Monday, Dec. 14. Finalists for 4A Offense are Leonard Snell of Nashville, Chris Kershner of Dardanelle and Braylon Harris of CAC. Defensive finalists are Austin Capps of Star City, Billy Stewart of Nashville and D'Angelo McCoy of Warren. Coaching finalists are Tony Travis of Pea Ridge, Danny Abshier of Prairie Grove and Bo Hembree of Warren.

NEXT YEAR
Nashville graduates most of its offense, including Snell. But junior running back Darius Hopkins ran for 1,440 yards and 25 TDs this year. Prairie Grove returns almost half of its defense. Warren returns the bulk of its offense in 2016, including QB Hayden Lassiter and running back Dennis Daniels. Pea Ridge returns 2,000-yard rusher Zaine Holley.
