No. 3 White Hall at No. 6 Camden Fairview
These teams were members of the 5A South from 2012-2017, with Camden Fairview winning five of the six match-ups. The Cardinals also beat White Hall twice in the playoffs: 62-19 in the first round in 2010 and 35-13 in 2009 quarterfinals. White Hall senior Braylon Johnson set the tone in last week's 31-17 win over Farmington by returning the opening kickoff 99 yards for a touchdown. Senior quarterback Matthew Martinez completed 12 of 15 passes for 123 yards and a TD, and ran 12 times for 127 yards. Senior running backs Durran Cain and Zaire Green combined for 124 yards, while senior Steven Weston caught six passes for 44 yards and a TD and intercepted a pass on defense. “White Hall establishes the run by using the power game and multiple looks,” Camden Fairview coach Jake Monden says. “They are extremely disciplined and don't turn the ball over. They won't beat themselves.”
Camden Fairview led Greene County Tech 26-7 in the fourth quarter last week and survived 26-21. Junior QB Martavius Thomas completed 16 of 20 passes for 241 yards and two TDs and ran 11 times for 95 yards. Senior Brandon Copeland caught seven passes for 112 yards and a TD, while senior Jacoriae Brown ran 10 times for 70 yards and a TD. Defensively, junior safety Arquavion Martin returned an interception 90 yards for a TD.

Wynne at GREENBRIER (10): These teams have never played. Greenbrier, the only 5A West team to advance into the second round, rallied past Maumelle last week 31-28. Senior Bradley Turnage nailed the winning 34-yard field goal with 1:23 left, then Eli Weaver (eight tackles) intercepted a pass with 50 seconds left to seal the victory. The Panthers trailed 28-14 in the third quarter before battling back behind senior QB Cooper Wilcox (15 of 29 for 226 yards and two TDs, and 21 carries for 53 yards and a TD). Junior Carter McElhaney caught five balls for 87 yards and two TDs, and senior WR/LB Jacob Mathis caught seven passes for 103 yards and a returned an interception for a TD. Senior RB/LB Nick Huett ran 22 times for 101 yards and racked up eight stops on defense. Wynne survived HS Lakeside last week 47-34, after trailing 14-0 early. Senior Carl Washington ran for 126 yards and a TD and caught a 70-yard TD pass, while sophomore fullback Kobey Davis ran for 145 yards and a TD. QB John Watson ran for 85 yards and a pair of TDs, and completed both of his passes. Magnolia at PULASKI ACADEMY (26): These teams meet in the playoffs for the third straight season. Pulaski Academy won 53-29 in last year's quarterfinals and 63-34 in the first round in 2019, but Magnolia had eight turnovers in those two losses. The Bruins survived nemesis Harrison a week ago 36-21. Senior RB Joe Himon ran 18 times for 103 yards and a TD, and caught six passes for 31 yards. Senior QB Charlie Fiser completed 26 of 34 passes for 241 yards and a pair of TDs, and logged nine carries for 55 yards and a TD. PA's defense held Harrison to minus-35 yards rushing. Sophomore DB Patton Whicker finished with five tackles and three interceptions, while senior OLB Ben Smiley made 14 tackles and returned an interception 57 yards for the clinching TD in the final minutes. Magnolia jumped on Valley View 21-0 in the first quarter last week, led 35-7 at halftime and rolled to a 42-21 decision. Magnolia's D held Valley View to 268 yards on 75 snaps (3.6 yards per play). The Panthers ran for 492 yards, with junior Garrion Curry logging nine carries for 141 yards and two TDs. Senior wingback Kendrick Carey gained 143 yards on just four carries, while Amare Roach, filling in for injured starter Deraylan Williams, ran for two TDs. LR CHRISTIAN (7) at Nettleton: LR Christian beat Nettleton 42-21 in the first round in 2007. The Warriors were the only No. 3 seed to win last week in the Class 5A playoffs, ousting 5A West runner-up Vilonia 53-29. Senior Jayvean Dyer-Jones sprinted 59 yards for a TD on the first play from scrimmage, finishing with for 205 yards and three TDs. Senior Eli Cooper hauled in three TD passes, including a 76-yarder late in the second quarter that extended LR Christian's advantage to 35-7. 5A East champ Nettleton hammered Hot Springs 33-14 in the first round. Senior Koby Bradley ran 26 times for 281 yards and four TDs, while senior QB Cameron Scarlett ran nine times for 78 yards and a TD.  Junior LB Blake Brown collected 14 tackles, while junior DL Jordan Pigram nine stops, including five TFL's, and recovered one fumble. Watch extended highlights of LR Christian’s 14-10 loss to White Hall earlier this year.
