WEEK 2 PREDICTIONS (favored team in ALL CAPS followed by point spread)

BATESVILLE (12) at Searcy: Batesville only beat the Lions by eight points in Searcy two years ago. Since, the Pioneers have won 17 games, while Searcy has won just two.
Marianna at WEST HELENA (35): West Helena's conditioning and discipline showed in the second half last week before it lost by two points at Pulaski Academy. The Cougars mauled Marianna 42-0 a year ago. Marianna lost at Hamburg by 15 points last week.
SPRINGDALE (7) vs. Blytheville (at Pulaski Academy): These teams from Northwest and Northeast cut their travel distance and meet in Central Arkansas. Springdale turned the ball over seven times last week.
