FAYETTEVILLE - Arkansas continues postseason practices leading up to the 77th Allstate Sugar Bowl against Ohio State on Jan. 4 in New Orleans. The game will air at 7:30 p.m on ESPN.

Coach Bobby Petrino says his team's preparation has been at a high level. "I've been impressed," he  said. "Our timing is getting better. Meetings have been going well. I think everybody is excited about who we're playing and what bowl game we're in, so our preparation has been very good."

No. 8 Arkansas (10-2, 6-2 SEC) finished the regular season scoring 58 touchdowns, a mark that ranks second in the Southeastern Conference and tied for 16th in the country. The Razorbacks match up against the sixth-ranked Buckeyes (11-1, 7-1 Big Ten) in the Louisiana Superdome for the school's first BCS bowl appearance. Petrino admitted that along with the Razorbacks' offense, the entire team's effort has resulted in the successful 2010 campaign.

"It's been why we won 10 games," Petrino said. "Our offense, defense and special teams have always been able to take care of each other."

As the Razorbacks' finalize their bowl game plans, Petrino noted the team is anxious to perform in the game-time environment of the Louisiana Superdome.

"I'm thinking we'll have the home crowd advantage, at least I hope we do," Petrino says.
