HOOTENS.COM GAME OF THE WEEK
No. 2 Har-Ber at No. 3 Conway.
Conway, No. 1 seed and tri-champion of the 7A Central, gets 14 days to prepare for the defending state champs. Har-Ber uses 245 yards rushing and 281 yards passing to score 45.8 points weekly. Har-Ber QB Ryan Luther, the 2009 state title game MVP, has ran for 400 yards and 11 touchdowns and completes 67 percent of his passes with 34 TDs and seven interceptions. Conway counters with arguably the best defensive line in Class 7A led by end Marquez Massey. "That's the best front four we've seen this year," says Har-Ber coach Chris Wood. Har-Ber's defense will try to contain Conway's power-counter running attack and be sure tacklers in the secondary against Conway's speedy receivers.

TOP HALF OF THE BRACKET
FAYETTEVILLE (9) at West Memphis: Fayetteville QB Brandon Allen threw his first interception of the season last week in a driving rain storm against North Little Rock. West Memphis has two cornerbacks with 4.4 speed to cover Allen's receivers and two-year starting safety Deonte Mitchell owns 4.5 speed and led the team in tackles a year ago.
Cabot at FS SOUTHSIDE (7): Cabot's offensive line will push FS Southside's athletic defensive front around some and the Panthers will limit Southside's possessions. FS Southside beat Cabot 37-20 in the 2002 semifinals after losing the 2000 title game to Cabot 28-21.

BOTTOM HALF OF THE BRACKET
Bryant at BENTONVILLE (18): Bryant runs it 71 percent of the time and defensive end Josh Hampton is on the State Farm Awards watch list for Class 7A Defensive Player of the Year. Undefeated Bentonville scores 44.9 points per Friday. Bryant beat Springdale 30-7 in the first round. Bentonville beat Springdale 42-7 three weeks ago. In 2008, Bryant lost at Bentonville 34-14 in the second round.
