West-2 SHILOH CHRISTIAN (9-2) at East-1 Valley View (10-1):
These teams have never played. Shiloh Christian makes the 4 ½ hour trip from Northwest Arkansas to northeast Arkansas to face 5A East champion Valley View. Shiloh Christian, which tied for the 5A West title, scored on 7 of its first 10 possessions in last week's 58-22 win over Hot Springs. The Saints rolled up 419 yards, including 348 in the first half. Freshman quarterback Cole Creighton completed 13 of 17 passes for 141 yards and 4 TDs in the first half, while senior Bo Williams ran 16 times for 121 yards. Dalton Carnes caught 2 TD passes in the first half, while the defense set up 3 TDs by forcing turnovers. “Defensively, they fly to the ball,” Valley View Coach Sean Cockrell says.
Valley View trailed Maumelle 8-7 early in the second quarter last week before pulling away 38-14. Senior QB Carson Turley (15-113 rushing, TD; 171 passing, 2 TDs) led the Blazers' offense. Senior WR T.J. Starks (3-113-1) caught the ball well. Senior linebacker Brian Huff, a University of Missouri commit,  made 11 tackles while Jayde Taylor had 10 tackles and 3 TFL.

TOP OF THE BRACKET
Central-2 Mills (9-2) at South-1 LR PARKVIEW (11-0): These former conference rivals have played consistently for the past 40 years, and LR Parkview has won 9 of the past 16 in the series. LR Parkview has won 22 consecutive games, including 35-0 last week over Alma in a steady rain. The Patriots ran for 365 yards. Junior Cameron Settles (14-161 rushing, 4 TDs) and junior Monterrio Elston (11-121) led the ground game. Mills senior QB Achillies Ringo (24-34-340-2 passing; 2 rushing TDs) played a key role in last week's 35-21 victory over Wynne. Senior Akyell Madison (5-139 receiving, TD) and Dylan Parks (8-101) were Ringo's favorite targets.

South-4 Camden Fairview (7-4) at East-2 SOUTHSIDE (10-1): Camden Fairview ran for 430 yards while attempting only 8 passes in last week's 43-29 upset victory at 5A West champion Farmington. “Our offensive line had its best game of the year,” Camden Fairview Coach Nick Vaughn says. Trent Haygood (22-317-3 rushing) and senior Ja'bauree Lockhart (6-83-3 rushing; 11 tackles on defense) were vital on both sides of the ball. Southside's Joel Busby kicked 2 field goals, including the game-winner as time expired, in last week's 20-17 decision over Joe T. Robinson. QB Savion Hall ran for 133 yards and 1 TD, while senior Gabe Witt ran for more than 100 yards and 1 TD and returned a punt that set up a up a field goal. Senior DL Isaac Wallis, junior LB Andrew Plummer, and Tanner Elumbaugh each recorded 12 tackles. “Southside's defense is aggressive and opportunistic,” Vaughn says.

SHILOH CHRISTIAN (9-2) at Valley View (10-1): Hootens.com Class 5A Game of the Week.

South-2 HS Lakeside (8-3) at Central-1 PINE BLUFF (9-2): HS Lakeside's offense has evolved into one of the top units in Class 5A. Senior WR Kyler Wolf (14-256 receiving, 1 TD; 2-40 rushing, 2 TDs) dominated Harrison last week. Senior QB Jacob Hermossillo completed all 17 of his attempts for 304 yards and 3 TDs and he added 30 yards rushing. Junior Grady Ohman, who took over as the primary RB in midseason, logged 17 carries for 85 yards and 2 TDs. Pine Bluff, the 5A Central champion, zapped Nettleton 41-21 last week, despite being outgained 335-274. Junior D'jaun Hayes, filling in for injured starting RB Marquez Brentley, ran 16 times for 151 yards and 2 TDs, while senior Austyn Dendy ran for 84 yards and 2 TDs.
