Class 4A No. 6 Ozark at No. 23 Clarksville
Ozark has won seven of the past 11 over Clarksville, but the improved Panthers are 2-0 for the first time since 2009. Clarksville has scored 16 touchdowns in two games this fall. Clarksville's sophomore QB (spinner back) Bryce Buckner executes the Single Wing, with brother Nicholas Buckner taking most of the handoffs. Nicholas Buckner, a two-time all-state QB before sliding to running back, has scored multiple TDs this fall win wins over Booneville and Paris. Senior linebacker Eduardo Almaraz paces the defense with 25 tackles.
Ozark must recover from its 28-6 rivalry game win over Booneville. Junior QB Harper Faulkenberry, in his first start, ran 23 times for 84 yards and completed four of six passes, including TDs with Bryant Burns and Duke Walker. Senior Daniel Woolsey, who played only two games last year with a quad injury, paced the Hillbillies with 19 carries for 121 yards. “Clarksville runs a lot of counters and misdirection plays,” Ozark coach Jeremie Burns says.

WEEK 2 PREDICTIONS (favored team in ALL CAPS)
5A CENTRAL
PINE BLUFF (2) at Watson Chapel: Pine Bluff won eight straight over its inter-city rival until last year's 14-14 tie. Pine Bluff led Class 7A Cabot by one point at halftime a week ago, but gave up 31 consecutive points. Watson Chapel senior QB Devin Curry has passed for 305 yards and four TDs this year and ran for 130 yards and two TDs. Marion at LR PARKVIEW (1): LR Parkview led Class 7A Springdale 21-9 in the fourth quarter last week, before allowing two TDs in the final four minutes of 24-21 setback. Marion gave up 290 yards rushing in last week's 27-21 loss to Wynne. Marion beat LR Parkview last season 20-19.
WHITE HALL (17) at Crossett: Improved White Hall dumped talented Dumas last week 36-20. Bulldog senior Kam Robinson caught six passes for 158 yards and a pair of TDs, while senior Donte Buckner ran 18 times for 168 yards and two TDs. Crossett gave up three fourth-quarter TDs in last week's 36-30 loss at Magnolia. Watch extended highlights of White Hall's win over Dumas HERE.
BEEBE (6) at Lonoke: The Battle of Highway 31. Beebe has won 11 games in this rivalry since 2000, including the past three by a total of 71 points. Both teams have first-year coaches this season and neither play last week after losing in Week Zero (Beebe lost to Greenbrier in Week Zero by 19 points, while Lonoke lost to Carlisle  38-13). MORRILTON (35) at LR Fair: Morrilton finally plays its first 5A opponent after losing to Searcy by two points in the opener and bating Russellville 33-17 a week ago. Devil Dog senior QB Jacobly Criswell passed for 224 yards and ran for 112 yards against Russellville. LR Fair lost last week by 13 points to LR Hall.
PULASKI ACADEMY (4) at Ravenwood (Brentwood, Tenn.): Undefeated Ravenwood has given up just 34 points in three games this fall. The Raptors led Franklin, Tenn., 21-0 in the first quarter last week while coasting to a 28-point win. Pulaski Academy senior QB Braden Bratcher passed for 693 yards and eight TDs and ran for 135 yards and a TD in an 18-point Zero Week win over Har-Ber. 
MAUMELLE (1) at Vilonia: Maumelle impressed with last week's 21-point win at Pea Ridge. Junior QB Jonathan Reyes threw four TDs. Vilonia tallied four first downs in the opening three quarters of last week's mercy-rule loss at LR Christian. The Eagles also had had an interception and kickoff returned for TDs. Vilonia senior Draven Smith ran 18 times for 255 yards and three TDs a week ago, scoring on a 66-yard run on the game's opening play.
LR Christian is open.

5A EAST
Wynne at ARKADELPHIA (2) (THURS.): Arkadelphia has beaten Class 6A Sylvan Hills and Benton the past two weeks by a combined 90-42. Badger junior Braeden “Buster” Thomas ran for a pair of TDs in last week's 33-20 win at Benton. Wynne ran for 290 yards and attempted only two passes, both incompletions, in last week's 27-21 win over Marion. Mountain Home at NETTLETON (34): Nettleton has won five straight in this series, including 42-0 and 43-7 the past two years. Senior Nathan Young ran 31 times for 222 yards and three TDs in last week's 52-41 win over Pocahontas. Young has 374 yards and five TDs in two games this fall. But Nettleton's D has given up 63 points.
Blytheville at WEST MEMPHIS (20): West Memphis had 17 days to regroup from its season opening loss to improved LR Central. Blytheville has lost to Marion and Osceola the past two weeks by a combined 45 points. 
Batesville at SEARCY (24): These teams play for the 20th straight season. Searcy QB Bryce Dixon threw three TD passes and ran for another in last week's 39-7 win at Sheridan. Jonesboro scored TD last week on five of its opening six possession in a 25-7 win at Batesville. Pioneer senior Ethan Ridgel ran 18 times for 76 yards. 
RIVERCREST (1) at Valley View: Hootens.com Class 4A Game of the Week. sA battle of 2-0 teams. Valley View has won three of its five meetings over the Colts, but Rivercrest won last year by 10 points. Rivercrest scored 35 unanswered points in last week's 28-point win over Paragould, with junior QB Kam Turner running for a pair of TDS. Valley View puts up 378 yards weekly. Valley View senior Connor Watson paces the Blazers with six catches for 207 yards and a pair of TDs.
FORREST CITY (4) at Dollarway: Both teams were off last week. Forrest City junior QB Kendall Akins threw the winning 45-yard TD pass to senior Jatterion Brown in the final seconds Week Zero to beat Star City. Improved Dollarway lost by four points to heavily-favored LR McClellan.
POCAHONTAS (16) at Paragould: Pocahontas has scored six TDs in each of its opening two games. Junior QB Dawson Chester throws the ball effectively, while senior Derrick Kimble runs physical in the backfield. Paragould led Rivercrest 7-0 in the first quarter a week ago but failed to score again.
Greene Co. Tech at NEWPORT (14): Newport sophomore QB Eli Alcorn accounted for five TDs in last week's 53-42 win over Pottsville. Greene County Tech's offense struggled in the first half last week against Brookland, trailing 6-0 at intermission but rallied for a 29-14 triumph. Junior David Williams has 20 carries this year for 117 yards and a pair of TDs, while junior QB Storm Harris has a pair of TD passes.

5A SOUTH
LR MCCLELLAN (2) at Sylvan Hills: Sylvan Hills has won six of the past nine in the series. But the winless Bears have been outscored by a combined 92-37 by Class 4A Arkadelphia and LR Catholic. Sylvan Hills trailed LR Catholic 35-0 at halftime a week ago. Watch highlights of Sylvan Hills loss to Arkadelphia HERE.
Fountain Lake at HS LAKESIDE (31): HS Lakeside trailed Lake Hamilton 21-14 at halftime last week, but couldn't slow Lake Hamilton's running attack in the second half. Lakeside junior Logan White caught 10 passes for 169 yards against Lake Hamilton. Fountain Lake gave up 250 yards in last week's 40-8 loss to Hot Springs.
Hamburg at CAMDEN FAIRVIEW (8): Camden Fairview beat the Lions in overtime a year ago. The Cardinals led Class 6A El Dorado 13-10 last week before giving up the winning TD in the fourth quarter. Undefeated Hamburg averages 36 ppg. Senior D.J. Johnson paces the Lions with 23 carries for 211 yards and three TDs, while junior QB Brett Rice completes 63 percent of his passes.
Monticello at MAGNOLIA (13): Magnolia rallied past Crossett last week with three fourth-quarter TDs. Senior running back Amir Cooper has three TDs this season. Monticello trailed Watson Chapel 28-10 in the fourth quarter last week before giving up three late scores. Watch highlights of Magnolia's loss Week 0 to Warren HERE. NASHVILLE (35) at De Queen: Nashville averages 46 points and 426 yards weekly. Junior QB Keyshawn Stewart has 263 yards and four TDs this fall, while senior Carmillas Morrison has topped the 100-yard mark in both games this fall. De Queen has scored just two TDs this fall.
Hope at ASHDOWN (10): Ashdown has won eight of the past 14 in the series. The Panthers beat De Queen last week by 24 points, while Hope lost at Nashville 56-0. 
HOT SPRINGS (3) at Mena: Mena has won four of the past seven in the series, including the past two by a total of 30 points. The Bearcats stuffed a two-point conversion in overtime a week ago to eek out a 36-35 win against Prescott. Improved Hot Springs ran for 148 yards and sophomore QB Isaac Shelor completed 11 of 18 passes for 102 yards and a TD in last week's mercy-rule win over Fountain Lake (led 40-0 in the second half). 
Texarkana is open.

5A WEST
OZARK (7) at Clarksville: Hootens.com Class 5A Game of the Week.
Siloam Springs at HARRISON (10)
: Harrison has won three of the past four over Siloam Springs. The Goblins have registered consecutive mercy-rule wins after handling Mountain Home last week 42-9 (led 42-0 at halftime). Senior running back Gabe Huskey ran six times for 145 yards and three TDs against Mountain Home, and he has six TDs this year.

Marion at LR PARKVIEW (1): LR Parkview led Class 7A Springdale 21-9 in the fourth quarter last week, before allowing two TDs in the final four minutes of 24-21 setback. Marion gave up 290 yards rushing in last week's 27-21 loss to Wynne. Marion beat LR Parkview last season 20-19. 
Berryville at HUNTSVILLE (2): Huntsville trailed Gentry 22-7 at halftime a week ago, before losing 38-15. The Eagles ran for just 58 yards, but junior QB Brooks Wiggins completed 16 of 26 passes for 122 yards and a TD. Berryville shut out West Fork 41-0 a week ago. 
FARMINGTON (21) at Gravette: These are former conference foes with Gravette winning seven of the past 12 in the series. But Gravette has lost 11 of its past 12 games under three different head coaches. Senior receiver Drew Sturgeon scored a pair of TDs last week when Farmington opened its new stadium with a 20-point win over rival Prairie Grove.
MAUMELLE (1) at Vilonia: Maumelle impressed with last week's 21-point win at Pea Ridge. Junior QB Jonathan Reyes threw four TDs. Heber Springs at GREENBRIER (10): Greenbrier has won seven of the past eight battle of the Panthers, including the past two by a combined 38 points. The Panthers past Beebe two weeks ago, outscoring the Badgers 23-0 in the second half. Heber Springs was stuffed on the potential winning two-point conversion in the final two minutes of last week's 28-27 loss to Clinton.
SPRINGDALE (3) at Alma: Class 7A Springdale rallied past LR Parkview last week with two TDs in the final four minutes. Alma lost the “Battle of the Bone” to Van Buren last week 53-21. Alma trailed 250 in the first half. Senior receiver Grayson Bailey caught six passes for 94 yards and a TD. Alma has lost six straight non conference games and has lost three straight to Springdale. 
MORRILTON (35) at LR Fair: Morrilton finally plays its first 5A opponent after losing to Searcy by two points in the opener and bating Russellville 33-17 a week ago. Devil Dog senior QB Jacobly Criswell passed for 224 yards and ran for 112 yards against Russellville. LR Fair lost last week by 13 points to LR Hall.
