No. 5 Russellville at No. 2 Har-Ber

 
Both look to advance to the playoff semifinals for the third consecutive year. Har-Ber beat Russellville 47-23 in the semis two years ago. Russellville, which starts eight seniors on both sides of the ball, rallied to beat Springdale 27-26 last week while Har-Ber had a first-round bye. Har-Ber beat Springdale 29-3 in its 7A West opener. Russellville junior left tackle Logan Purtle (6-2, 265) could return from injury this week, boosting the Cyclones chances against Har-Ber's "big and physical defense," Russellville coach Jeff Holt said. "When team's have success moving the ball on Har-Ber, they can't finish. Har-Ber wears opponents down." Har-Ber averages 208 yards rushing and 143 yards passing weekly.

WEEK 12 PREDICTIONS (favored team in ALL CAPS followed by point spread)
FS Southside at BENTONVILLE (9): Bentonville looks to avenge its only loss, a 31-21 setback at FS Southside Week 5. FS Southside, which led 31-14 late in the fourth quarter, turned three Tiger turnovers into 17 points and held possession 32:04 of 48 minutes in the first meeting.
Rogers Heritage at NORTH LR (4): Second-year program Heritage won at quarterfinalist FS Southside and lost in overtime against No. 2 ranked Har-Ber during the regular season. North LR beat quarterfinalist Russellville in its conference opener. North LR last played host to a second- round game three years ago and lost in double overtime to eventual champ FS Southside.
Conway at CABOT (8): Conway made Cabot nervous in the 7A Central opener, totaling more than 300 yards offense, including 157 yards rushing by QB Xavier Acklin. Acklin passed 52 yards for a TD with six seconds left  in Conway's 45-52 win at Fayetteville last week. Cabot had a first-round bye.
Russellville at HAR-BER (18): Hootens.com Game of the Week. Russellville trailed Springdale all night last Friday until Barrett Hughes passed 15 yards to DeMarius Neal for a TD with 1:23 left for a 27-26 first-round win and the school's 500th career victory. Har-Ber welcomes back key players from injury after its bye week.
