GAME OF THE WEEK
No. 7 Texarkana at No. 9  Marion

Winner plays at 6A West champion Greenwood in the quarterfinals. Texarkana downed Marion 28-13 in the first round of the 2009 playoffs at Patriot Stadium. Marion snapped a nine-game losing streak to Jonesboro last week and earned a home playoff game for the second straight year for just the second time in school history (2010-2011). Marion has recorded winning consecutive winning conference seasons for the first time since 2009-2011. The Patriots expect to play without starting receiver and cornerback Taylor Brown, cornerback Darius Weeden, defensive lineman Josh Green and a starting offensive lineman left the team the week of the Jonesboro game. Texarkana has alternated wins and losses the past eight weeks (lost 28-0 last week at El Dorado). That was the first time Texarkana has been shut out since a 40-0 loss in 2015 at Pine Bluff. The Hogs have not won a playoff game since a 2011 40-0 first-round victory over Mountain Home. DeJordan Mask (6-1), Irijah Price (5-11) and Drake Browning (5-10) highlight Texarkana's passing game against Marion's smaller secondary, which features Kenta Jones (5-7) and Kade Triplett (5-6).

WEEK 11 PREDICTIONS (favored team in CAPS followed by point spread)
TOP HALF OF BRACKET
PINE BLUFF
has a bye.
Jonesboro at RUSSELLVILLE (3): Winner plays at Pine Bluff in the quarterfinals. This is the first meeting of schools since 1947. Jonesboro has lost four of five outings and its fifth-place conference finish this year is its worst since finishing seventh in 2007 (finished 2-8). Russellville has won four of its past five state playoff games including the 2016 Class 6A state title, but the Cyclones are 2-5 against playoff teams this year. Russellville figures to be the healthier team in this game as Jonesboro has lost nine starters to injury.
EL DORADO has a bye.
Lake Hamilton at SEARCY (10): Winner advances to play at El Dorado. Lake Hamilton's three-game winning streak was snapped last week in a 45-17 loss to Greenwood, but that game was tied 10-10 at halftime. The Wolves are 3-2 on the road this year and its two losses came to Class 7A power Bryant and Class 2A No. 2 El Dorado. Searcy concluded its best regular season since 2011 in a 61-0 rout of Hall, its first shutout since a 2014 53-0 win over Greene County Tech. Searcy's size on the defensive line could contain Lake Hamilton's running game.

BOTTOM HALF OF BRACKET
GREENWOOD
has a bye.
TEXARKANA (2) at Marion: See Hootens.com Game of the Week.
WEST MEMPHIS has a bye.
Jacksonville at BENTON (24): Winner plays at West Memphis in the quarterfinals. Jacksonville returns to the playoffs for the first time since 2014 and the Titans have not won a postseason game since a 2010 31-7 conquest over Sheridan. The Titans try to limit possessions by utilizing all of the time on the play clock. Jacksonville is led by all-conference performers H.D. Martin and Shawn Ellis. Benton snapped a three-game losing skid with last week's 45-12 win over Sheridan. Benton likely starts converted receiver Gavin Wells at QB with its previous two Qbs (Peyton Hudgins and Colen Morrow) injured and unlikely to be active. Benton has had 30 players miss at least one game this year and 19 players did not dress out against Sheridan.
