Hootens.com learned Thursday morning this will be Houston Nutt's final season as head football coach at the University of Arkansas. Sources close to the program say UA recently told Nutt his final game as head coach of the Hogs will be next Friday (Nov. 23) at LSU. Nutt's name has been linked to possible head coaching positions at SMU, Baylor, Nebraska, Texas A&M, Memphis and other universities the past few months. Hootens.com sources say Nutt and Baylor have agreed on a $2 million a year deal.
Former Baylor
Bear and Chicago Bear great Mike Singletary was reportedly Baylor's top choice.
