HOOTENS.COM GAME OF THE WEEK
No. 11 FS Northside at No. 8 Bryant.
FS Northside backed into the playoffs despite losing to rival FS Southside 56-7 last week. Still, FS Northside could challenge 7A-Central tri-champ Bryant. FS Northside beat Bryant 45-40 earlier this year and won last season at Bryant 36-21. Northside's elusive senior quarterback Kenrick Burns and the state's all-time career receptions leader Shaquille Jones (6-2, 175) present matchup problems for Bryant. Bryant responded to a 35-0 loss at North Little Rock by beating talented LR Central 21-12 last Thursday. Bryant's signature win was a 31-28 decision at Conway. Bryant graduated 36 seniors last year and returned starters at just seven positions but overachieved to win its fourth league title under Coach Paul Calley. Bryant looks to advance past the first round of the playoffs for the third time in four years.

WEEK 11 PREDICTIONS (favored team in ALL CAPS followed by point spread)
TOP HALF OF THE BRACKET
Conway has a bye.
LR Catholic at FAYETTEVILLE (11): LR Catholic beat Springdale, FS Northside and Russellville this fall by a combined 148-62. Fayetteville beat those teams by a combined 145-52. In 2008, Fayetteville lost in the first round at LR Catholic 35-21, a year after winning its only state title.
FS Southside has a bye.
FS Northside at BRYANT (3): Game of the Week.

BOTTOM HALF OF THE BRACKETT
Bentonville has a bye.
Springdale at WEST MEMPHIS (1): Springdale won three of its final four regular-season games by an average of 14 points (47.6-33.6). West Memphis has won eight straight conference titles but struggled to beat LR Parkview 20-18 last Thursday. The winner will be a big underdog next week at undefeated Bentonville.
North LR has a bye.
LR Central at SPRINGDALE HAR-BER (18): Central has lost its last three games by a combined 107-57. Har-Ber appears to be peaking. Har-Ber beat Fayetteville 45-24 Week 9 before losing the 7A-West title last Friday at Bentonville 28-14. Har-Ber is the only team this season to not get mercy ruled by Bentonville.
