HOOTENS.COM GAME OF THE WEEK
No. 3 Conway at No. 4 Rogers Heritage. Conway, realizing its potential after more than a decade of mediocrity, has scored 109 points. It totaled 469 yards and 56 points in the first half last week at solid Class 6A Jonesboro after waxing 7A West power FS Southside 53-35 in the opener. Heritage hammered 5A Southeast member Helena but last week trailed at 5A West Siloam Springs in the fourth quarter. Conway running back Desmond Cox brings moves and quickness rarely seen in Rogers. Conway junior quarterback Tyler Langley loves his senior-laden receiving corps led by Tristan Eddings (5-7, 140). Langley completed 12 of 15 tosses for 350 yards and six TDs last week. Heritage's three-year starter Reed Brown should have success against Conway, too. The Wampus Cats allowed 278 yards passing at Jonesboro.
