HOOTENS.COM GAME OF THE WEEK
Cabot at No. 3 Pulaski Academy.
The teams agreed to this match-up after both coaches wanted an opponent with contrasting styles. Cabot's smash mouth attack may force Pulaski Academy to adjust its youthful, undersized defensive line. The Bruins gave up 360 yards, including 83 rushing, in last week's win over Central Arkansas Christian. Defensive lineman Dirk Tanner, who has committed to Louisiana Tech, registered eight tackles, two sacks and forced a fumble. "They are big, strong and should mow us over," said Pulaski Academy coach Kevin Kelley. "They do what they do (run the ball), and they do it well."

Junior quarterback Fredi Knighten fuels Pulaski Academy's offense. He passed for 213 yards and two touchdowns, ran for 29 yards and a score and returned a punt 65 yards for a TD against CAC. Bruin guards Will James (heat exhaustion) and Matt Kolb will miss the game, Kelley said.

Cabot fullback Spencer Smith rushed for 82 yards in last week's 28-14 triumph over Jacksonville.
