Rison defeated 8-2A favorite Junction City 27-14 last week, shutting out the Dragons in the second half. Senior quarterback Juan Jones (20-6 record as a starter) threw 65- and 90-yard touchdown passes to senior receiver Marquis Walker and senior tight end Quanterio Heath, respectively. Senior running backs A.J. Smith and Jerry Marshall each ran for a score.
Star City has beaten Rison the past two years by an average of 15 points. The Bulldogs held Rison scoreless until the fourth quarter in last year's 28-13 victory. Last week, senior QB Austin White completed 12 of 20 passes for 148 yards, including a 35-yard TD pass to senior receiver DaVondrick Shelton, in a 21-7 win over Lonoke during Simmons First/Hootens.com Kickoff Week.

Greenland at MANSFIELD (1): The Pirates beat Mansfield 40-14 in last year's regular-season affair. But the Tigers eliminated Greenland in the playoffs with a 24-7 victory. Mansfield forced five turnovers in last week's 14-7 win at Waldron.
LINCOLN (6) at Cedarville: Lincoln sophomore RB Tyler Cummings ran 19 times for 178 yards and four TDs in last week's 42-12 win at Westville, Okla. Cedarville lost eight turnovers in a 30-0 loss to Mountainburg.
MOUNTAIN VIEW (1) at Rose Bud: Mountain View senior tight end Jeremy Flanery caught a 15-yard TD pass and returned an interception 15 yards for a score in last week's 36-14 win over J.C. Westside. Rose Bud sophomore QB Christian Reynolds generated 270 yards and three TDs in a 48-36 loss to Quitman.
Salem at YELLVILLE-SUMMIT (17): Yellville-Summit beat Berryville 13-6 last week. The Panthers defeated Salem 33-6 a year ago.
MARSHALL (18) at Melbourne JV: Marshall lost to Clinton 47-6 last week. The Bobcats beat Melbourne JV 53-14 a year ago.

Mayflower at GREENBRIER (35): Mayflower beat Marianna 22-20 last week. Greenbrier defeated Mayflower 53-0 a year ago.
Harding Academy at HEBER SPRINGS (7): Harding Academy junior QB Will Francis completed 23 of 31 passes for 280 yards and two TDs in last week's 23-20 win at Fountain Lake. Heber Springs defeated three-time defending Class 4A champ Shiloh Christian 36-17.
SOUTHSIDE BATESVILLE (2) at Riverview: Riverview lost to Carlisle 42-6 last week. The Raiders beat Southside Batesville 33-20 a year ago.

Hoxie at GREENE CO. TECH (7): Hoxie senior QB Sebastian Irvin rushed for 216 yards and three TDs in last week's 45-8 win over Episcopal. Greene County Tech senior QB Cody Davis generated 224 yards in a 45-6 loss to Jonesboro.
NEWPORT (1) at Bald Knob: Bald Knob junior QB Cordell Crisp completed 30 passes for 351 yards and three TDs in last week's 28-21 loss at Pocahontas. The Bulldogs beat Newport 42-21 a year ago.
HIGHLAND (28) at Corning: Corning snapped a 22-game losing streak with last week's 30-27 win over Walnut Ridge. Highland beat the Bobcats 55-7 a year ago.
Osceola at RIVERCREST (3): Rivercrest won its 16th game in a row with last week's 35-0 victory over Trumann. The Colts defeated Osceola 36-14 a year ago.
Lake Village at EARLE (14): Earle junior RB Autry Allen ran for four TDs, one for 77 yards, in last week's 52-0 win at LR Fair. The Bulldogs beat Lake Village 34-14 a year ago.
MANILA (2) at Palestine-Wheatley: Manila lost to McCrory 51-26 last week. Palestine-Wheatley beat the Lions 22-19 a year ago.

PARIS (14) at Waldron: Paris senior RB Mason Koenigseder ran 12 times for 122 yards and three TDs in last week's 35-7 win over Green Forest. The Eagles beat Waldron 44-20 a year ago.
