Mount Ida band, cheer, dance and football team members (top photo) packed more than 13,000 meals Wednesday for the local food pantry before a pep rally for the Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield Kickoff Classic, presented by hootens.com. Class 2A No. 4 Mount Ida battles Class 3A No. 9 Centerpoint at 7:30 p.m. Monday at Ouachita's Cliff Harris Stadium. The Mount Ida Lion mascot presents a jersey autographed by the players to Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield Regional Executive Bryan Dorathy.
