HOOTENS.COM GAME OF THE WEEK
No. 2 Nashville at No. 3 DeQueen

DeQueen hasn't beaten its rival since 1998, but the Leopards circled the rematch after last year's 34-14 loss in Howard County. Senior quarterback Jamario Ervin (more than 500 total yards) has driven the Leopards to consecutive wins over Camden Harmony Grove and Idabel, Okla., by a combined 95-14. Senior running back Greg White was limited by a hamstring injury the opening two games but rushed six times for 98 yards a week ago. Junior Corey Morgan (120 yards last week) and fullback Sam Willis also rotate in the backfield, while Willis and Yordi Moran lead DeQueen's defense as inside linebackers.

Nashville senior Anthony Smelser shifted from linebacker to running back this year and responded with seven touchdowns. Junior QB Cole Moore and senior linemen Tyler Lingo and Ryne Chambers "played their best games last week," Coach Billy Dawson said. Tackle Josh Wiley and linbackers Smelser and Brett Little (12 tackles against Liberty-Eylau, Texas) anchor Nashville's defense. "It's going to come down to defense," DeQueen coach Chris Vereen said. "The winner will hold the other team under 20 points."

WEEK 4 PREDICTIONS (favored team in ALL CAPS followed by point spread)
1-4A

Berryville at SHILOH CHRISTIAN (35): Shiloh Christian's 65-0 win last season spurred Berryville's move in the spring to force a private school-only playoff. Saint QB Kiehl Frazier passed for 499 yards and six TDs at Greenwood last week.

CLINTON (4) at Marianna: Undefeated Clinton averages 44 points per game. The Yellow Jackets lost at Marianna 14-7 last season.
LONOKE (2) at Heber Springs: Heber Springs overflows with confidence after drubbing previously undefeated Greenbrier by 26 points last week. Heber Springs senior running back Braylon Mitchell ran for 195 yards against Greenbrier. Lonoke turned the ball over four times in last week's 21-7 loss at CAC, including twice in the final six minutes.
STUTTGART (31) at Southside Batesville: Stuttgart's D shut out Malvern 28-0 last week. Ricebird senior Reid Counce makes plays at running back and linebacker.

3-4A
NEWPORT (10) at Highland: Winless Newport relies on running backs Darion Watkins and Artez Brown, who combined for 209 yards against Wynne last week. Highland averages a TD per game.
OSCEOLA (14) at Valley View: Osceola running back Tony Dancy has rushed for 583 yards and six TDs this year. The Seminole D held Rivercrest's running attack to just 39 yards a week ago.
POCAHONTAS (14) at Jonesboro Westside: Jonesboro Westside rushed for 440 yards in last week's 44-26 win over Southside Batesville. Pocahontas' D forced five turnovers in last week's 28-7 loss at Greene County Tech.
