More than 200 attended the Arkansas Football Coaches Association winter meeting (Ronnie Roach Football Clinic) Feb. 9-12 at the Arilington Hotel in Hot Springs.

Speakers included Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy and Arkansas Razorback assistant Steve Caldwell.

The association elected former Conway athletic director Buzz Bolding as its new director.

It also named outstanding staffs in 2010 for each classification: Class 2A Magazine, 3A Rivercrest, 4A Pulaski Robinson, 5A Camden Fairview, 6A El Dorado and 7A Conway. Magazine, Rivercrest and El Dorado won state titles in December. Fairview made its second straight title game appearance and Robinson advanced to the semifinals. Each school's staff will receive a plaque at AFCA's summer meeting in Fayetteville.
