Nation's top recruit picks Missouri over Hogs
The nation's top prospect announced Wednesday morning that he'll play college football at Missouri.
Springfield, Mo., Hillcrest receiver Dorial Green-Beckham (6-6, 220) had narrowed his college choices to Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas and defending national champion Alabama months ago. His dad and high school coach, John Beckham, says that's all he knew Monday night.
"He visited Missouri this weekend and slept all the way home Sunday," Coach Beckham says.
Green-Beckham played a high school game at Razorback Stadium on Thursday, Sept. 1 during Simmons First/Hootens.com Kickoff Week. His team lost to Rogers Heritage but then won 10 straight, making the deepest playoff run in school history and finished No. 6 in Missouri. It was Hillcrest's first Top 10 finish.
