2010 Razorbacks stayed in Top 25 all season for first time since 1989

FAYETTEVILLE - The University of Arkansas finished the 2010 season ranked 12th in the final Associated Press and USA Today coaches polls.

The Razorbacks, who finished 10-3 and made the first BCS bowl appearance in school history, earned their highest final AP ranking since placing 12th in 1988 and best coaches poll ranking since a 12th-place finish in 1985.

Arkansas ended its 2010 campaign in the Allstate Sugar Bowl after finishing second in the SEC Western Division with a 6-2 conference mark. UA, which began the season ranked 17th and remained in the Top 25 all season for the first time since 1989, won 10 games for the 11th time in school history and six SEC games for the fourth time.
